This year the WBN will be offering
a range of activities to enable our members to become more informed, inspired and enabled to live sustainably in terms of their food, energy, water, waste and social systems. We are already organizing the following list of activities for you to enjoy. Please add your suggestions and comments so we can keep this relevant and (dare I say it) sustainable.



NETWORKING
Our regular Monthly Meetings where you connect with others and interact with a range of local and
international speakers on related topics.


VISITS
To existing permaculture home gardens, permaculture farms, community gardens, organic markets and sustainable
communities, sustainable homes, re-cycle centres, etc.


WORKSHOPS
Permaculture Designs and Techniques; Composting, Worm Farms, Green Manure, Living Mulch; Herb & Medicinal
gardens; No-dig-gardens; Companion planting; Water saving-storing-recycling; Waste & Grey Water systems;
Energy generation, capture, storage and conversion; Balcony gardens to Broad acre farms; Seed Savers Network;
Raw Food (easy steps, simple recipes, etc); Vegetarian living; Medicinal Gardens and natural healing tips;
De-toxing your home; Natural Cleaners (home, skin, hair, garden); Ethical Investing; Alternative Economic
Systems; Organic co-ops; Transition Towns; Advocacy Strategies (to engage local, state, federal support);
Engaging Schools; Sustainable Relationships; Sustainable Businesses; Community Building; etc.
